What is Internal Medicine?
Interal medicine is a medical discipline that does not specialize in a specific area or organ, but rather it encompasses the whole body and how everything works together, from head to toe. Physicians who do specialize in intemal medicine are referred to as intemists and Dr. Sareen has decades of experience in this field. They are trained to deal with patients with multiple illnesses, injuries, and conditions with an emphasis on diagnosis at a higher level more specialized doctors tend not to possess.
Patients with various symptoms and conditions may pose a problem when a specialist is attempting to treat a singular aspect, but are unable to fully integrate complications from other areas within the patient. Dr. Sareen is an intemal medicine specialist, certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
